Seashell Mermaid Mug
This mug was created from a white porcelaneous stoneware clay, fired to cone 6 oxidation. This lustered mug features a delicately carved fishscale pattern that is further accentuated by the glaze and is adorned with seashell charms that dangle off of the mug.
Mug holds about 14 ounces comfortably.
All clay and glazes that I use are lead-free and food safe.
This mug is not microwave safe and is not recommended to be washed in the dishwasher, as it has fragile parts.
As with all of my pieces, I recommend pre-warming them under the warm water tap before pouring any hot liquids into them. This practice lessens the thermal stress on the handmade piece, thus ensuring longevity.
